|7 Minute AMRAP|
|Elite: Accumulate as many rounds in 7 minutes of: 10 handstand push ups, a 25’ farmer carry, 10 shoulder to overhead barbell reps and another 25’ farmer carry.|
|Competitive/Masters: One partner working at a time. Accumulate as many rounds in 7 minutes of: 5 handstand push ups, a 25’ farmer carry, 10 shoulder to overhead barbell reps and another 25’ farmer carry. After the working partner passes the start line with the second farmer carry, the non-working partner may begin their HSPU set.|
|Open: One partner working at a time. Accumulate as many rounds in 7 minutes of: 5 ring push ups, a 25’ farmer carry, 10 shoulder to overhead barbell reps and another 25’ farmer carry. After the working partner passes the start line with the second farmer carry, the non-working partner may begin their ring push up set.|
At the count of 3, 2, 1 Go – athletes will start on handstand pushups (ring push ups for open teams). After completing the assigned reps, athlete will pickup two loaded ‘bazooka’ bars and farmer carry the bars 25’, athlete’s feet must cross the designated line before dropping the bars. Athlete will then complete 10 shoulder to overhead reps with a barbell on the lifting platform. After the 10th rep, the athlete will farmer carry the 2 ‘bazooka’ bars back, passing the starting line to complete a round. Partner divisions will have athletes alternate rounds – no tag required. At the end of 7 minutes, total rounds and reps will be scored. Open teams will substitute ring push ups for the HSPU.
Every rep starts at ends at the top of a handstand with the arms fully locked out, heels in contact with the wall, hips open and body in line with the arms. Hands must remain inside the pre-marked box on the ground throughout the entire rep. Head must make contact with the ground at the bottom of every rep, feet do not have to remain in contact with the wall. Kipping or strict HSPU variations are permitted.
Ring Push Up (open teams):
Every rep starts and ends at the top with elbows locked out with only the toes in contact with the ground. Chest (nipple line or above) must touch the rings at the bottom of every rep.
Athletes must lift a ‘bazooka’ bar in each hand off the ground before staring the 25’ carry. Athlete must cross the end marker line with both feet before dropping the bars. Bars must remain on the designated matting for the athletes to move onto the next movement. Each 25’ carry will be scored as 1 rep. Bar weights for each division will be posted after the event release.
Shoulder to overhead (S2OH):
Barbell must remain on the lifting platform at all times. Athletes may take the barbell from the ground to shoulder position with any lift (partner assist not allowed). Each rep begins with the barbell on the shoulders and finishes with the weight fully locked out overhead and over the middle of the body. A shoulder press, push press, push jerk or split jerk may be used, as long as the elbow, shoulder, hips and knees are fully extended, and the bar finishes directly over the body with the feet in line. The bar may not be lifted from back rack.
